About I've been wanting to create a personal site for quite some time now. I've just never got around to fully devoting my time and efforts into making one. Other reasons include privacy issues and nosey people. All of those are basically out the door now since I basically could care less about what other people think about me. The site gets its name "2nd Initiative" because I believe in second chances in life. No matter how many mistakes a person may make, there's always a way to redeem bad choices. I stand by this very much since my life has been full of pretty stupid mistakes. I've noticed as the years have gone by, that later on in life, if you try something again, you're more than likely going to succeed or better yourself. It's life's way of teaching you things about, well...life itself. Starting over in life is one of the best feelings in the world. It always happens when things are at their worst and you feel that there's nothing left to do. You come back so much stronger and with a renewed vigor, both mentally and physically. I always like it when I get really low and then feel this immense surge of energy and optimism. You can never really tell when it will happen, it just does. It's really weird to describe. It's kind of like buying a new video game. You want to try out something new, without a care for anything but yourself. I've decided to put up a blog again, just for the sake of sanity. Comments are allowed again, as well as archives of past entries. I do warn you though, if you don't feel like reading a bunch of crap from someone who is bored 90% of the time, then I suggest you go on to the other sections. Everything about my life, from family and friends, to love and movies are covered. I'm a very open person, and as you'll see, I don't hold back on anything. It's just the way I am. So if you are offended by harsh language or thoughts on religion, then just suck it up. Well, that basically covers the basics of the site and its purpose. I hope you enjoy your visit! |
